ABE Diploma 1 Students getting ready for December 2009 examination.

From today, secure English language testing will be mandatory for adult students studying below degree level (excluding those on foundation degrees or English language courses) under Tier 4 of the Points Based System.

This test must be taken with a UK Border Agency-approved provider before the applicant applies for a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) from the education sponsor.

FROM 1 SEPTEMBER 2010, AS YOU KNOW, FOR UKBA ATTENDANCE COMPLIANCY WSC WILL BE USING THE BIOMETRIC SYSTEM FOR ATTENDANCE.

WSC WILL NO LONGER ONLY ACCEPT SIGNATURES ON THE REGISTER FOR ATTENDANCE COMPLIANCY. SIGNING ON THE CLASS REGISTER CAN BE NO LATER THAN 20 MINUTES FROM THE TIME OF TOUCHING IN ON THE BIOMETRIC SYSTEM.
